Anugrah Narayan Memorial College is a degree level college. It is 40 km from Aurangabad in Magadh Division and is situated at the western end of 'Navinagar' on the banks of the Punpun River, almost as far from the Dehri Onson of Rohtas. Navinagar is a block-level small town which is connected by road from district headquarters and by rail and road from Dehri  Onson, due to which there is a facility of students from remote villages of Navigar zone. The resolve to establish the college was created only to overcome the lack of concern of the higher education of Navinagar block, and after many obstacles, the establishment of this college became possible in 1970.


The college is running on its own land  at the western end of Navinagar. The college has enough plots for the campus and new building construction.

The name of the college is Anugraha Narayan Asmarak College. There are many colleges in Bihar named after the great educationist and freedom lover Anugraha Babu. Naveengar has been his home area. He has been a very popular leader of the people of Naveengar. Therefore, unanimously inspiring, founding and sankalp ideology did the sacred work of naming the college after 'Smriti' Smriti Chetna. The symbolic feature of Anugraha Narayana Asmarak Mahavidyalaya and the character of its inner Ikshakti is maintained with a simple resolve in the spirit of maintaining the character and personality of the Namvar Purush.

After the design of the college's resolution, many academics and sparse qualities of administrative capacity have given their service to the skilled principal. From the foundation day of the college till date, the list of great academics who have taken up the post of Principal .
